Importance of 7th Houses in Astrology

     The results which follows when the lord of the 7th house is located in the various houses.

�       First House: One travels a lot to earn livelihood or to propagate his faith.  He is sensuous.  He loves the wife intensely.  The person may marry someone he has known since childhood or one who has been brought up in the same house.  The wife or husband of the person will be a stable and mature person.  He will be intelligent and capable of weighing the pros and cons.
�       Second House: The person will get wealth from women or through marriage but is disliked by the spouse. He may have several illicit connections and may even permit similar behavior to his spouse.  If the second house is a dual sign and afflicted more than one marriage is likely.
�       Third House: One loves his relations and family and his wife gets attached to younger brother.  This disposition gives lucky brother who may live abroad.  If afflicted the person may indulge in adultery with a brother�s or sister�s married partner
�       Fourth House: It gives a luck and happy married partner with many children and comforts.  The person may have the benefit of high academic qualification and own may vehicles.  His parents are afflicted and not stable.  His wife lives with parents very often.
�       Fifth House: It gives early marriage, good character but his children are more He derives happiness form wife who is generally very capable.  He keeps good health, is Free from enemies, debts etc.  The partner may hail from an affluent and well-to-do family.
�       Sixth House: This is not a happy position.  One does not get full satisfaction out of married life.  The person may have two marriages with both partners living.  The spouse may also be sickly or an addict.
�       Seventh House: The person is long lived, loves his spouse and successful in enterprises.  The person possesses a charming and magnetic personality. Women flock to him and seek him out for alliance. The spouse comes from a family of reputation and social standing.
�       Eighth House: Delayed marriage and illicit relations and loss through enterprise are indicated.  Wife is sickly and conjugal happiness is denied.
�       Ninth House: One gets prosperous, noble and good spouse. One may live abroad or the person may make his fortune in foreign lands.  The spouse will enable him to lead righteous life. Serious /affliction to 9th house causes impotency.
�       Tenth House: One gets a devoted noble and helpful spouse. The person may also flourish in a profession abroad or his career may involve constant traveling. The spouse may also help in the advancement of person�s career.
�       Eleventh House: The spouse may live longer than the person may. He may earn fortune from foreign sources.  The spouse will be noble and good.  The spouse may hail from a rich background or bring in much wealth.
�       Twelfth House: Marriage could take place with a girl belonging to a comparatively poor or low class family. There may be more than one marriage in the person�s life or may develop clandestine relation with other lady when the wife is still alive. This could also bring separation between husband and wife soon after marriage either by divorce or other circumstances of even by death.  This also brings disputes with other relations in the family.
�       Death may occur while traveling or abroad.  If both karaka and the 7th lord are weak, the person may never marry. The native will be closefisted and generally poor. The results occur if the 7th lord is placed in the different bhavas.  But they must not be applied literally to charts without considering the entire chart as a whole after assessing the strengths and weaknesses.
�       The 7th  Bhava occupied or aspects by the 9th lord, or sign lord or other benefices marriage will be happy and the wife, a loving and fortunate woman. 
�       Mars and Saturn are in the 7th in Capricorn, the spouse will be chaste, beautiful and lucky. 
�       If there are malefic in the 4th, 8th and 12th houses from Venus, or Venus is hemmed in between malefic, the wife will die soon after marriage.
�       Moon and Saturn in the 7th in a women�s chart indicates remarriage while in a man�s chart, they deny marriage or progeny.
�       Saturn in depression in the 6th  or 12th  house; Saturn in the 6th  or the 8th house from Venus, the Moon in an even sign and Mercury in an odd sign and both being aspects by Mars; if the Lagna, Venus and the Moon occupy odd Navamsas; if Mars is in an even sign and the Lagna is in an odd sign;
�       Sun and the Moon, Mars and the Sun, and Saturn and Mercury, if each of these pair of planets is in an odd and even sign mutually aspecting; If the 7th lord and Venus are in the 6th house one becomes impotent. 

�       If the 1st or 7th lord be in depression or occupy an inimical sign or be Eclipsed in Navamsa, the native will have another wife while the first still living

�       THE SUN: Marriage is delayed and there may be more than one marriage, suffers insult, injury, humiliation due to women; acts in a manner to arouse the opposition of the Government; health suffers; does not thrive well in foreign countries.  He will have few friends and finds difficulty in getting along with people.  He will have loose morals.
�       THE MOON: The person hails from good family and mother dies very early.  He is very intelligent, strong sex drive, possesses comely appearance, passionate, easily roused to jealousy, narrow-minded but sociable, energetic and successful in life.  His wife has a good personality.  He is fond of traveling and is of soft speech. He engages steadfastly in business. 
�       If the Moon be weak and aspects by malefic, he/his wife both would be sickly, and will always be quarrelling with enemies.  In a male nativity it makes him subservient to his wife�s wishes.
�       THE MARS: This is a disturbing factor for matrimonial happiness, but if Mars were in his own sign or lord of the 1st, the evil effects will be reduced. There is possibility of more than one marriage. 
�       The person travels much and will have temper is fiery. This also effects father adversely.  The person will be a henpecked and submissive to woman. He will be intelligent, tactless, stubborn, peevish and unsuccessful.
�       THE MERCURY: It shows early marriage, skill in business and trade.  The person is long lived, knows laws, handsome, intelligent learned, good in business, wealthy, traveler, a writer, religious minded, attains grandeur and marry a rich lady.  The person�s wife will be intelligent and comely in appearance.  It curtails the potency and vitality in a male nativity.
�       THE JUPITER: He has a pleasing personality, is wise, fortunate, learned, orator and head of society and humble. He has happy married life.  The person rises to a position higher than that of his father. He holds an important position.  He is very famous but is lustful and inclined to have liaisons.  Diplomatic and kind-hearted.
�       The person gets virtuous, good-looking and chaste wife.  He will get good education and gains through marriage. He undertakes pilgrimages to distant place. The person will possess good sons.
�       THE VENUS: The person is fond of opposite sex and enjoys good conjugal happiness.  He is liberal and popular.  Wealth after marriage.  He is fond of music and is fortunate.  The person has a good personality, good sons but loose morals.  He is of an amiable disposition and avoids frictions.
�       He suffers from diseases of the urinary tract and may have some unhealthily habits.  Virility due to disease or excesses. Successful in partnership with those of the opposite sex.
�       THE SATURN: It delays marriage but gives stable spouse but disturbs conjugal happiness and elevates the position in foreign lands. He is put to distress and humiliation on account of women. 
�       He travels much.  The person will be under spouse�s control.  The spouse will be ugly or otherwise defective. He will have more than one marriage with a widow, divorce or one advanced in age. 
�       He will be diplomatic and enterprising.  He will get honor and distinction.  He suffers from colic-pains, deafness or even diabetics.
�       THE RAHU: The person is unconventional, marries outside the caste etc and his spouse dies early. He is clever, self-willed, proud and independent, but not very intelligent.  He is inclined to have liaisons, but in a male nativity it is an adverse position for virility. 
�       The person may lose money through contact or Liaisons with women.  He engages in disputes, suffers in family affairs and separation from relations.  There is no peace of mind.  His wife suffers from womb disorders.  He eats good and rich food, has luxurious habits and suffers from diabetics and fears from supernatural.
�       THE KETU: This is an adverse position.  The person suffers separation from spouse or the person may be sickly and short-tempered.  The person himself suffers from intestinal troubles or hernia. The person is avaricious and incurs heavy expenditure and experiences mental worries, loss of vitality, fear from thieves.  Any affliction to Ketu here causes cancer also.
